A Little About Me, Hobbies, Sandwiches, and Personal Academic Information that Shouldn't Be Required to Be Shared for This Course

My name is Alexandra Farraher. I am a freshman pursuing a Materials Science and Engineering Degree with a Minor in International Studies. I chose this major because with an MSE degree, I can be hired to work in a foundry environment. It has always been my dream to work in us mortals' closest approximation of what a Gothic hell is like, except with added OSHA safety requirements. It doesn't make sense to most, but it doesn't have to. It just needs to make sense to me.

My favorite hobby is catching up on sleep I have lost. College can be very demanding, so one must catch as much sleep as possible. Before class, after class, between classes can even be a good time for a nap. Late hours and early morning classes are not conducive to a healthy sleep schedule, but large gaps between classes are perfect for snagging those lost hours. I've always heard that you can choose to be an Engineering major or get enough sleep, but not both. I have certainly had no experience to contradict that.

  1. Get bread, turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and mustard
  2. Spread mayo and mustard on a slice of bread
  3. Layer on the turkey bacon, tomato, and lettuce, and top with another slice of bread
  4. Throw away the sandwich and buy cake. Cake is always better.
