Welcome to my humble webpage!

Hello! I am Akshay Paruchuri, a freshman at North Carolina State University who is interested in electronics and the development of electronics specifically. As a result of my interests, I am striving to major in Electrical Engineering. I have a huge passion for computer electronics in particular, and my major interest happens to be in processor electronics, as well as the software that maximizes the use of all the hardware behind a computer. Due to that passion along with my interest in power electronics, the latter of which is more generalized over the field of electrical engineering, I most likely will end up majoring in Computer Engineering as well once I get into my sophomore year properly. Another reason behind my major choice(s) is the fact that I am a huge admirer of some companies that develop topics I am interested in such as mobile processing, cloud processing, and so on. Some companies that come to mind that I personally love are Intel, Qualcomm, NXP, and ASUS.

My favorite hobby, at the moment, is playing computer games competitively. Although I personally do not like investing too much time into computer games simply because of how strenuous such a choice can become, it definitely is good fun to sit down during my free time and enjoy a computer game in a manner that builds my gaming skills, rather than just goofing off in some sandbox game. There are many notable games, primarily First-Person Shooter games and strategic Multiplayer Online Battle Arena games, such as Team Fortress, Counter-Strike, and Dota that provide good fun in the competitive sense. Personally, I am a huge fan of both Team Fortress and Counter-Strike, and play both games at least once a week. I have been playing Team Fortress in particular for the past ten or so years now, since the Classic version that was released quite some time ago. Aside from competitive games, I do also enjoy single-player games like Half-Life, The Legend of Zelda, Portal, Telltale Series games, and more.
