Welcome to my 5a homepage!

Hi, my name is Benjamin Stone. I'm a freshman at NCSU going into computer engineering. I chose computer engineering for the importance that it will have on the future of the world. Computers continue to grow in power and relevance as the years go on, and learning how to build them, and understanding how they work and what would be needed to continuously improve them will be a valuable skill later in my life. I'm also a huge fan of building things, putting things together, and technology. I feel like learning about how computers work will allow me to obtain the skills necessary to do that kind of work on computers.

This Puzzle

My favorite hobby would have to be solving puzzles. Whether it is an actual 5000 piece puzzle or simply building a model car and finding where all the right parts go, building puzzles has always been one of my favorite things to do with my freetime. There is nothing like the feeling of finding the right piece that just slides right into place after hours of searching through all the pieces. That feeling of completion and satisfaction is what makes puzzle building so exciting for me. The largest puzzle I have ever completed consisted of 5000 pieces, it took me around a week, while also working around other activities, to finish that puzzle. However, when I was done, I was rewarded by the satisfaction of having finished a 5000 piece puzzle. Therefore, it was totally worth it.
