Agritourism & Societal Well-being Lab

Our lab conducts scientific research to advance the scholarship of agritourism and sustainable tourism while promoting societal well-being.

Our Vision is to become a recognized research lab serving local, national and international communities through innovative and applied research in the fields of agritourism and sustainable tourism by:
  • Contributing to the scholarly advancement of social, environmental, and economic dimensions of tourism.

  • Finding sustainable solutions to promote societal well-being.

  • Maintaining a level of excellence through constant evaluation and adaptation to changing contexts, in the areas of research techniques, technology, and teaching methodology.

  • Fostering collaborations and mentorship among faculty and graduate students to build the future generation of academic and professional leaders in sustainable tourism.
