Why isn't it Friday yet?

This is homework 6...I really hope it's a 100

My name is Caroline Kirkland, I am a freshman at State and my chosen major is engineering with mechanical intent, right now. I don't know exactly why I chose engineering but it most likely a combination of my naturally critically thinking mind and my dad. From a young age he would make my sister and I think through situations and why things had to be done a certain way to encourage us to think like that for our selves and be curious about solutions to problems. I chose mechanical engineering because I always liked working on our cars with him. I have always been fascinated with complex moving systems and how all of the pieces fit together and make everything run smoothly.

It's very hard to pick a favorite hobby but I would have to say that at the moment my favorite hobby is rock climbing. I picked up rock climbing during the gap year I took between high school and college. I had climbed some when I was much younger but the closest place to climb was over and hour away so I never had time when I was in school. I would climb about once or twice a week as time and money would allow. I knew I wanted to be part of the rock climbing club at State because I have some of my friends are part of the club and said that it was a lot of fun. We have practice two times a week and I love climbing and all the friends I have made through the club.
