Livestock/Forestry Agent

Individual Responsibilities

"Provide training and educational opportunities for livestock and poultry producers, in forage management, herd health concerns, and value based marketing.  Provide training for 4H livestock project participants that will enable them to show, care, and successfully compete at the Annual Meat Animal Show and Sale."

Forestry producers will have the opportunity to learn more about marketing, stand care, and environmental concerns that will affect their livelyhood.

"Also responsible for training swine, beef, dairy and poultry producers so they can be certified to handle animal waste. Provide education to septage handlers on how to properly handle their product."

Current Information

Animal Waste Educational hours that intensive livestock producers will need to get before Dec.30,2000.
