From a small town, eight hours away from here, came little ole me, Darby Gene Denmark. I traveled to the vast concrete world of Raleigh, North Carolina in pursuit of a Pulp and Paper Engineering degree. I am currently a freshman who is continuesly falling more for the trees and all that is possible through the complex engineering that transforms the pulp into the practical substances that influence us all.

For me, it is sometimes difficult to come up with the right words that accurately express my thoughts and feelings. This is why I draw. I love the feeling of putting my thoughts into a picture that shows exactly what my mind created. My favorite drawings are those of hand and face manipulation to create a piece that is symbolic and personal.

Pizza Me
  1. Gather essential ingredients: Doe, sauce, pepporoni, sausage, cheese, more cheese, and salt and pepper.
  2. Put reasonable proportionals of other ingredients onto the doe. Some may disagree but the order does not matter.
  3. Place into the oven at 350 degrees until the crust is a golden brown.
  4. Let cool, and then enjoy the homemade deliciousness.
