Welcome to this about page for Daniel Spruill.

My name is Daniel Spruill a freshman and currently I am part of the NCSU FYC, First Year College, where we hope to find out what we are interested in for a major. I have recently come to the conclusion after having an interview with the Senior Software Manager at SAS Institute of Technology about the computer science and computer engineering majors here at state and he helped me narrow down what I want to study here at NCSU. I have narrowed it down to those two majors because I really do like programming, and debugging even though it is annoying. My only problem is trying to decide between the two of them. I really like working with my hands and I think that I would enjoy the aspect of combining computer programming with how to build one. But I also think that I would actually enjoy computer science. I don't really know which one to do but I am slowly but surely making up my mind.

My favourite hobby currently is woodworking. I started a few years ago and found that I really enjoyed it because of how hands on it is. And because it is surprisingly relaxing. I really like planning and building what ever pops into my head. My most recent build was a small bookshelf for my sisters apartment and it made me really proud. I will probably use that as the picture to be posted down below. I really recommend at least trying woodworking to anyone.
