Goals and Objectives

My name is John Starke, and I am in Materials Science and Engineering. I choose this major, because it is relatively a small department, and has many different avenues for research. I beleive that Carbon nanotubes, found in the MSE department, have great potential. Carbon nanotbues, have immense potential in the field of robotics. They can be used to form new robotic muscles.

My favorite break from school is going to my aunts house in Wilmington. The view is bueatiful, and it is right on the water. It is awesome when my whole family ends up staying there, since there is such a high level of joy. Normally this occurs in July around the 4th, and when the entire family is there, it is like Christmas in july...with lots of fireworks. Also, since my aunt is on the water, we can take kayaks or the boat our, and go boating up in the down the intercoastal water way.
