Hello! Thanks for clicking on my amazing page.

My name is Kristen, I'm a freshman in Biomedical Engineering. I chose this major because I enjoy working with things associated with a hospital-type setting, also because it is a good alternative to becoming a doctor. Improving the way the health care field operates is something I am very interested in. I've had firsthand experience with people suffering from a lack of clinic locations, no access to medical machines and mechanisms, and that prompted me to get involved and pursue this field. Specifically, I hope to do a concentration in bioinstrumentation and improve medical machines so that they are more efficient, effective, and accessible.

My favorite hobby is playing guitar. I started learning in high school about 5 years ago, and had a series of different lessons, both formal (kind of) and informal. In the end, I decided to teach myself by watching Youtube videos. Now, I do not have much time to play, as homework monopolizes most of my time, but I still make time to improve my technique and play for enjoyment. I also enjoy teaching others to play guitar. I've tried to teach my mom and sister, but they didn't really catch on. Some friends have asked me to teach them, and that has yielded good results.

  1. Obtain a loaf of white wheat bread.
  2. Toast two slices of bread on medium toaster-oven setting.
  3. Allow toast to cool a bit before removing from the oven.
  4. Spread Nutella generously on the face of one of the slices of toast.
  5. Spread a peanut butter of your choice (Cookie Butter from Trader Joe's is a very delicious option) on the other slice of toast.
  6. Put the two slices of toast together so that the two spreads mash together. Do not over-smash your sandwich.
