Welcome to this small corner of the Internet

My name is Kevin Ye and I am a first year student at the North Carolina State University. I am currently an environmental science major but I am not certain that is what I want as my major. I feel like environmental science will involve statistics and several aspects of social sciences, which I am not particularly fond of. I am thinking of CODAing into civil or environmental engineering by the end of the spring semester of 2016. I believe the type of work and skills involved in engineering would suit my abilities better than environmental science.

I enjoy learning about knot tying and its applications. I find it facsinating how ancient humans were able to make sturdy ocean-faring vessels with only knots holding the vessels together. I want to have a large trove of knots that I can pull from and using in certain situations. I primarily use knots in the outdoors in my camping trips over the summers. In these trips, I would utilize my knowledge of knots to hang bags of food from trees and experinment with the fire place set up. Once I had tied several sturdy sticks together to hang my camping pot over the fire. I felt quite accomplished at this feat. I have used knots in other situations like tying bamboo poles to form a canopy for several of the crops in my family garden.

How to make Doritos Nachos

  1. Buy a big bag of Doritos. Any flavor will do.
  2. Acquire some shredded cheese of whatever flavor to your likings. I prefer shredded mozorella
  3. Cover chips with a hearty amount of shredded cheese.
  4. You can add beans if you have any, or onions, or olives.
  5. Toss into the oven and bake for 20 mins at 400 degrees fahrenheit.
  6. After it has finished baking, take it out of the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve with gaucamole, sour cream, salsa, etc.
