My intended major is Biomedical Engineering, and I'm considering a minor in Mathematics. I am a student at North Carolina State University, and will graduate in May of 2020.

I chose Biomedical engineering primarily because I want to help people. I've always known that I wanted to pursue some kind of engineering, and for me, Biomed is the clearest way I'll be able to use my brain and my passions to benefit others. I'm deeply interested in how we can assist the human body, though I'm not sure which concentration I'm going to choose for the major. Whether I go into prosthetics, machine design, or some other area, I know that I want to change someone's life for the better.
