My name is Marissa Cottle, and I'm a sophomore majoring in Agriculture and Environmental Technology. I love farming, bees, beekeeping, raising animals, growing plants, and basically everything related to agriculture. In high school I was an active member of the National FFA Organization and participated in many competitions including livestock judging, poultry judging, parliamentary procedure, and sheep showing. Back at home, I have a flock of my own chickens that I take care of and collect fresh eggs from. I also enjoy camping, hiking, and anything else outdoors. I have a little bit of a love for graphic design and using computers as well.
I'm enjoying being able to learn new ways of using computers, and having to think a little deeper about the technology that I use. I've learned so much more about the need to be careful with how I share my information and what can be done with it. I hope to learn more about html programming and how to build a more complex webpage. I also hope to learn more about how a computer works and what I can do if one has a problem. One thing I did not like was using SNAP because it does not seem very useful besides teaching about how programming works.
