My Major

My major is currently mechanical engineering, though I am attempting to CODA to civil engineering. I study at North Carolina State University. I anticipate to graduate as part of the class of 2019.

Why Civil Engineering?

I chose engineering because I have always liked the sciences and have been good at math. I decided to pursue civil as my discipline after taking several drafting classes in high school and enjoying the work, but wanting to learn more about what I was doing. I plan to do a speciality in structures. With any luck, I will be able to get employment at a nuclear power plant where my degree will be put to good use.
