Welcome to my Homework Webpage!

My name is Madeline Poole. I usually don't tell people my middle name beacuse when I was younger I wasn't able to pronounce it the correct way. I am able to say it now, but the habit has just kind of stuck. My major is engineering first year, chemical intent. I like chemsitry, so ChemE seemed appropriate. I'm not sure if I want to have a concentration and if I do, what the concentration will be.

My favorite break from school was summer break between sophmore and junior year of high school. During this break I traveled around Austria, Italy and France. I spent about two weeks in Europe and it was just an awesome experience. In Austria I visited Vienna, Innsbruck and Salzburg, in Italy I went to Venice and Florence, finally in France I stayed in Paris and the Loire Valley. During this break I also ate my first macaroon, which was a great moment by itself.

Here is a picture from my favorite trip, it is of a small church in Innsbruck. euro picture

This third and final paragraph is about my opinion of the E 115 grading scale. I am very happy that this class is only pass fail because I do not believe that if the class grade was based on percent averages that I would receive a very good grade. Therefore, my GPA will most likely improve because this class is only pass/fail. I also appreciate that I will know exactly how well I need to do on the final exam based on past assignment grades.
