A SECOND ATTEMPT AT MAKING A GOOD PAGE, THIS TIME FOR HOMEWORK

Who I am and why I am here:

Hello, my name is Michael Logan Tucciarone. I am in my first year here at NC State and plan on going into the Engineering Program, namely Computer Science, with a focus on Video Game Design. I chose this major by considering that in the future, when I am in the work force, I will have to be working for about 20-30 years if I am lucky. With that in mind, I decided that I needed to pick a career I would find engaging and fulfilling for that whole period of time, so I chose something that combines my artistic and writing skills with my favorite hobby. That way, I feel I will enjoy what I will do more and be able to pour myself into to a greater degree, contributing more to the industry.

Favorite Hobby:

As hinted at above, my favorite hobby is playing video games. While not starting at a tremendously young age as some of my friends, I was introduced to video games somewhere around the age of 7. I mostly just played Pokemon on my old Game Boy Advance in the beginning; it was a great way to make friends at that age. Then came the PC stage, starting with Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Spore, then the Half-Life games and Team Fortress 2. Unfortunately, since the ancient Windows XP wasn't quite up to the challenge of Steam (I'm serious), I was knocked out that medium fairly quickly. Yet, fate smiled on me and for my 16th birthday, my parents got me a Xbox 360 and Halo: Reach. That brings me to where I am today, playing games on the 360 and 3DS and aspiring to make some of my own one day.

Favorite Site, great community, great tips for a great game:

...EVEN THOUGH IT WASTES ALL MY TIME D:<

All this coding is making me hungry. Roast Beef Sandwich recipe, anyone?

  1. Get 2 slices of bread. Not picky, but sourdough and french are good options.
  2. Time for the meat. Add about 4 slices of Roast Beef or enough to make a thick layer of meat.
  3. Now, slap on some cheese. Swiss and Pepperjack are my personal favorites, but one or the other.
  4. Toss in the microwave for about 30 seconds; enough for the cheese to melt. Best served on a plate.

Enjoy!

First semester has been eye-opening, especially with grades.
