Welcome! This is a very large header!

My name is Nicole Hiemenz, and I am a freshman. I am technically on a path to be in something in the College of Engineering, although I have no idea what. My mother pressured me to apply for engineering majors despite my lack of knowledge of what engineering even is. I would like to major in Theatre. Unfortunately, this institution lacks a Theatre major. I have been active in the theatre community of my high school and surrounding hometown for the past 5 years, and I absolutely love how diverse an art it is; it involves so many aspects that I would never get bored pursuing it. I have experience in running crew, performance, costume construction and design, set construction, scenic work, stage management, and makeup design and work, and I am always willing to learn more.

My favorite hobby is cosplay. Cosplay is dressing up as a character, like one does on Halloween, but year round. Cosplay can be as intricate or plain as you want! You can purchase a premade one online, just throw one together from clothes in your closet, or spend a ton of time and money on it! I prefer to create intricate costumes that take a long time to complete because they feel more satisfying when they are done. This year I am hoping to create a transforming Belle dress from Beauty and the Beast.

I love dogs so much. They are kind, loyal, wonderful, loving, furry little friends. They are so important, and will always be there for you. I love my dog, Lily, the most. She is white with brown spots. She really likes peanut butter. I love her.

My Pizza-Making List:

  1. Gather your ingredients. You should have:
  2. Knead out the pizza dough. Toss the dough by propping the sagging circle of gluten on your knuckles, and tossing it spiralling into the air. As it spirals back down, it reminds you of your life. You do not notice where it lands. You do not care. Nothing matters. Nobody knows why we are here. Especially not the dough. It gazes up at you from the floor, asking, begging you to reveal why you did this. You cannot answer. It is dough. You are terrible at making pizza.
  3. Once your dough has been sufficiently kneaded, spread a layer of pizza sauce onto the top. Cake it on. Make it impossible to see the imperfections and insecurities of the dough beneath. It hides beneath the sauce, whimpering, and praying for love and acceptance. The pockmarks of its personality remind it that this is an unrealistic wish.
  4. Spread cheese on top! Everybody likes cheese. That's why you like cheese. You just want to be liked. Like cheese.
  5. Sprinkle pepperoni and black olives on top. Put as much as you like!
  6. Finally, set it in the oven to bake. Leave it under the harsh scrutiny the oven, staring deep into its soul like the all knowing eye of the public, staring, judging, baking, until the crust has turned golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  7. Enjoy! You may be most of the way through your lifespan already!
