Welcome! Here is some information about myself.

My name is Paul Kester Jr. and I am a sophomore at North Carolina State University. This is my first year at NC State, because I transferred form UNC Chapel Hill. I am currently majoring in chemical engineering, which so far seems to be a really good fit. My dad was a chemicial engineer, so I came in being fairly familiar with employment opportunities, and also am very interested in science and math. The field of chemical engineering has many different pathways that can be taken, which makes it very appealing to me. Also, chemical engineers usually have a job out of college, and typcially are paid well.

My favorite hobby is golfing. Ever since I was really young, golf has been my utmost passion. Throughout my middle school and high school years, I participated in numerous junior tournaments along the east coast, and was also part of the Hoggard High School golf team. Golf is an extremely challenging sport, which can be irritating but also rewarding. It is a sport that truly proves hard work leads to success.Golf has given me many opportunities and has led to me making some lifelong friends. In addition, the sport is a sport that I will continue to play for the rest of my life.
