Welcome to my website!

My name is Ryan Kvanvig. I am a sophomore here at NC State. I recently transfered here from UNC Charlotte. I am studying Electrical Engineering. I decided to major in Electrical Engineering because I have always been fascinated by how things work, and understanding how to make things. This interest got me into speakers and headphones at an early age. This led me to become interested in how technology worked, and how to make things work more efficiently.

I currently work at the Chick-fil-a in Crossroads. I am taking the semester off to focus on my classes, but I still work when I get the chance. I started working there the summer between my sophomore and junior year of high school. I had always wanted to work there since my brother also worked there during high school. I have continued to work there throughout the school year for all of high school. When college started, I couldn't work since I was going to school in Charlotte any my job was here. I decided that it would be a good idea to continue to work when I can, but to take the semester off from work. This way I can focus on doing my best in my classes. Over the four years that I have worked there, there have been a lot of changes. Some for the good and others not so much. I am hoping to find a co-op for Fall 2018. I would really like to work for a speaker manufacturing compony. I would like to design the components that go into making a speaker, and also learn a little bit about acoustics while working there.
