My name is Ryan, I am a junior in the
college of sciences pursuing a degree in geology. Outside of
school I like to do just about anything within the outdoor
realm. Some of my outdoor hobbies include skydiving, shooting,
diving, hiking, climbing, and fishing. When I am not outside I
maintain a marine reef aquarium, build stuff in my garage, and
watch a lot of youtube on how to be better at all of the above.
Some of my most notable feats have been a 23,000 foot jump, a
1100 yard shot, a 140 ft dive, a 36 mile hike in one night, a
2000 foot vertical ascent, and a 25 pound catfish.
CSC 200 has so far been a good time, I am
learning some really interesting information in the lecture and
some cool tricks in lab. I'm not sure what else I'd like to
learn, for the most part because I'm not sure what else there is
(you don't know what you don't know). So until I have a better
handle on the questions to ask I'm going to learn everything I
can and apply the things I believe will help in the future. The
only complaint I do have is the time of lab and how late into
the evening it can go. Overall I have enjoyed the class and the
lab time is really a result of my inflexible schedule.
