... And Well Met on the Journey!

My name is Shayna Feldstein. I am a freshman at NC State. I am intending to matriculate to Psychology over the summer. I have been interested in Psychology in some manner since I was little; my dad taught in the field of Psychology and brought me to where he worked often, if only as a form of babysitting. I have also wanted to help people for a while, and the mode of help that Psychology offers people is the form that I find myself most capable of using to assist people in their times of trouble. I look forward to pursuing research and internships in this field!

One of my main passions is singing, and I've remembered singing as far back as when I was eight years old! I have participated in my temple's Choir for five years, then transitioned to more public performances in High School (Go Imps!) I participated in one choral class a year in HS, and I still remember a good deal of the music I learned. At NC State, I am currently in Vox Accalia, the Women's Ensemble, and have been for two semesters in a row. I don't think I have it in me to pursue singing competitively, but bringing joy and general feeling to people through song is one of the things I really enjoy in life.

Here's a link to my favorite webcomic, The Property of Hate! Just click the lovely image.

And while I'm here, I have my updated resume to share as well.

I like my pizza simple, but with mushrooms. Here's how to start making it:

  1. Buy basic crust, vegetable oil, mozzerella cheese, tomato sauce, and baby mushrooms from your local store.
  2. "Paint" your crust with the vegetable oil.
  3. Use a small spoon to ladle on the tomato sauce to your liking.
  4. Add cheese and mushroom!
  5. Put it into the oven for 10 minutes at 425 degrees.
  6. Let cool, and dig in!

Here are some of my classes this semester.
