Ulric Groves' Tale of Epicness

This is me... A Knight Errant!

La Me

What is a Knight Errant?

That's a really excellent question! One that I wish I knew the answer to... According to the dictionary it's: "A medieval knight wandering in search of chivalrous adventures." Only I'm not living in the middle ages, and while I do my best to find chivalrous adventures, they seem to be a lot harder to come by than in the story books. How rude.

Right now I'm primarily focused on pursuing my education, which is in Nuclear Engineering at North Carolina State University, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2019.

What in the world... Nuclear Engineering? What does that have to do with being a knight?

Ummm... *Shuffles papers*

To put it in simple terms, our definitions of chivalry, rules of governance, and modes of economic survival have shifted a "wee" bit in the past thousand years. This has necessitated a shift in the appearance from the knights of old, galloping about in armor and chopping up the occasional villain, to the modern knight. I chose Nuclear Engineering as my career path because I want to make the world a better and safer place for everyone. One of the key aspects to ensuring this type of future is creating clean, safe energy. I believe that Nuclear Energy is the key to the future of sustainable energy production, which is why I chose to join the quest for sustainable, safe, nuclear energy.

Here are five knightly skills that I have:
