Hello, my name is Alexander Stotka and I am a freshman intending to major in biomedical engineering. I chose to major in biomedical engineering because of its many practical and life aiding uses. I became interested in biomedical engineering when I heard they were able to strip a heart down to its shell and regrow it using another person's own healthy cells so they did not have to take anti-rejection meds.
My dream job would to be working in my own lab, reseraching and discovering how to reverse engineer the brain. Being able to solve why the human brain works the way it does and not just accept the fact that we can't comprehend it would be incredible. This would require a lot of schooling and a PhD to run my own lab but I belive it would be worth it.
