All About Cody Ellington in a Nutshell

Welcome to Cody Ellington's page! Where you can learn all you wanted to know and more about Cody Ellington!

My name is Cody Ellington. I am a freshman at NC State University set to graduate in the year 2017, and if all goes according to plan I will leave with a double major in Computer and Electrical Engineering! I chose this major because I am strong in math and in science and I love to do math! My interest in computers arose from several programming courses I took in high school and I am more interested in how the actual computer itself works, hence Computer Engineering. The Electrical Engineering degree is so closely intertwined with the Comupter Engineering degree that in order to be competitive with my peers I decided to pursue a double major since there is a great amount of overlap. Effienct use of electricity is also a big problem facing my generation and I am hoping that with an Electrical Engineering degree I will be able to find a way to increase efficiency and produce cleaner electricty!

My favorite break from school is winter break! My Mom, Dad, brothers and sister and I are all Christians, so Christmas is a very important holiday in our family. We love Christmas because it gives us the opportunity to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ! Every year we also go to visit my grandparents from both sides, and get to spend lots of quality time sitting by the fire and laughing and telling stories that bring back fond memories. I also love winter break because, even though I live in North Carolina, I am always hopeful that it will snow! And snow on the ground usually means homemade Snow-cream! All in all, winter break holds a great deal of meaning to me and my family and for those reasons it is my favorite break!
