What it is. My name is Chris Gammon and I am a freshman in the First Year Engineering Program. I intend to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering. There is one person responsible for me choosing chemical engineering. That person is my high school chemistry teacher Mr. Campen. He is hands down one of the best teachers I've ever had. The way he made science so enjoyable and fun is what sparked my interest in chemistry.

My favorite hobby happens to be lacrosse. I started playing at the beginning of my sophomore year of high school. I played my first year on the JV team then my junior and senior years on the Varsity team; both years we reached the state playoffs. I have also had the opportunity to coach middle school kids at my former coach's camp. I am also looking into trying out for the club team here at State in the spring or next fall.
