This website contains some basic information about Evan Greer.

My name is Evan Greer and I am currently a freshman with an intended major of mechanical engineering. In high school, I had very strong skills in math and science. During my senior year, I doubled up in math and science courses in taking classes in calculus, computer science, chemistry, and physics. Although I did well in computer science and chemistry, I excelled in calculus and physics. This was part of the reason for me choosing mechanical engineering. I felt I had a good enough math and physics backround in order to excel in the courses required for the major. I also love problem-solving and figuring out how to apply math and science in the hopes of making things better, which is what engineering is all about.

I honestly don't have a real hobby. One thing that might come close is my recent interest in tinkering around with old electronics. I once was able to make a simple light for my desk back home using an old curcuit board. My current project, although on hold for now because of my schedule, is to make my phone able to charge wirelessly using an old Qi pad from an old Palm phone. This recent intereset is why I have given thought to choosing electrical engineering as it is very much so related to mechanical engineering.
