My name is Hannah Rich! I'm a freshman in Textile Engineering. I wanted to go to State for as long as I could remember and in 5th grade I decided I wanted to be an engineer. I first found out about the College of Textiles through a summer camp they hosted in 2013. I liked it so much I went back to their 2014 Summer Textiles Exploration Program, S.T.E.P., and I absolutely fell in love with the college! Now here I am, and I still love textiles!
My favorite hobby is playing volleyball. I started playing in 6th grade and I've played every year since. My high school's volleyball team made it to the State Championship 3 three years in a row and lucky for the girl's this year but unlucky for me, they finally won this year! Even though I don't play as much as I used to, I still play indoor with some friends whenever I have free time. On top of that, now that its getting warmer my best friend and I are on a sand team together!
