My name is Holly Heddens. I am a Freshman in the class of 2019. My major is Biomedical Engineering. I chose this major because of my interest in biology and medicine. I believe that this major will offer a unique opportunity to improve the quality of life through medical practices and discoveries.

My favorite hobby is playing rugby. I started playing rugby four years ago as a freshman in high school. I like playing rugby because it is different from the "mainstream" sports most people are aware of. It is sometimes described as a combination of football and soccer. However, I see it as its own, completely unique sport. It is a great form of exersize, a great way to meet new people, and a good conversation starter.
