My name is Ian. I am a freshman at NC State. I have not decide what I want to major in. I am considering Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Accounting. Civil Engineering interests me because it deals with buildings, bridges, roads, sewage sytems, and other common structures that we often take for granted. I am interested in Accounting because financials are very practical, and it is so complex that a lot of people and businesses need help managing their financial records and making good financial decisions. Industrial Engineering is a back up major because it doesn't require a lot of credit hours.

One of my hobbies is running; I run a lot. I started distance running in 5th grade when I joined the middle school cross country team. Since then, I have been hooked! Running is a great way to relieve stress, clear my mind, and exercise at the same time. Also, there are few things in the world more beautiful than watching a professional runner with a smooth stride pour out all of his mental and physical strength in a race. I run because I can work toward doing the same thing, even if I don't get to run in a professional race.

1. Step 1: Get 2 slices of bread, a jar of peanut butter, and a knife.
2. Step 2: Scoop peanut butter onto the knife.
3. Step 3: Spread peanut butter onto one of the slices of bread.
4. Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the amount of peanut butter has piled on top of the bread at least 2 inches high.
5. Step 5: Place second piece of bread on top of peanut butter.
