About Me

I grew up in Greenville, North Carolina and attended the public schools . I'm from a large family and was the first in my family to attend college.

I am an East Carolina University graduate with degrees in Anthropology and Far East History. I also received graduate degrees from ECU in Counseling and Adult Education. I have worked in First Year College since its inception almost 12 years ago! Needless to say, I have seen a lot of first year students enter the University and I'm happy to note that most of them leave having discovered their path and career direction.
