My name is Jeffrey Johnson, and I am an Eastern North Carolinian. I am senior in Biological and Agricultural Engineering. I originally graduated from NC State in 2011 with a degree in Finance. After graduation, I worked for the Wolfpack Club, raising money for NC State Athletics, for a year before realizing my true calling to be an engineer. Now I am back at NC State working on my engineering degree and hope to become an environmental engineer working in natural habitat restoration and natural water quality improvement.
My favorite breaks from school were, and will continue to be, summer breaks. During the school year we spend our time learning subject material while also learning some practical applications of material. In the summer we get to actually put our knowledge to use. The summers where I had internships and was able to put my learning to use while learning new on the job skills were my favorite. Also, making money, learning, and being able to enjoy a few breaks to enjoy the warm weather and watersports make summers great.
I LOVE MARCH MADNESS!!! Having played basketball for a large portion of my life, it's one of my favorite times of the sport's year. Although I am sad that the Wolfpack bowed out early, I am confident that we will bounce back strong next season with our strong group of freshmen returning even more confident in their game. I probably fill out at least five different brackets and do my best to watch every game. I have been known to have multiple TVs and computers going with different games on them at the same time.
