I am currently working towards obtaining my Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina State University. I anticipate to graduate in May of 2020.
The two factors that pulled me towards mechanical engineering were my love of math and my love of cars. I have known for quite sometime that I have wanted to design cars for a living; therefore, mechanical engineering is the perfect path for me. I am specifically interested in electric cars and powering cars in sustainable ways. There is an ever-growing market for this subject because the supply of fossil fuels will be completely depleted in the near future. As a result of my fascination with electric cars I am extremely eager to work with either BMW or Tesla Motors. Both of these companies are trailblazers in the field of sustainable electric vehicles; therefore, being able to work with their engineers and technology would be a great opportunity for me to further my intrest in sustainable transportation.
