My name is Sarah Pumphrey. I am a first year at NC State. I plan to duel major in Paper Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering. I chose Paper Science because it is a small program with lots of opportunities. I am interested in all the different directions that this major can take me in, and I am particularly interested in the very efficient process and environmental aspects of the program. I participated in the recruiting process in the fall and have already accepted an internship with Sonoco for this summer.

My favorite hobby is running. I ran cross country and track in high school. I think that running is a very good stress reliever and try to make time for it every day. This time of year the weather is perfect for going on long runs. My favorite place to run is along the beach. Last spring I ran my first half marathon, but unfortunately it was raining the whole time.

How to make an avocado grilled cheese

1. Get 2 slices of bread, one avocado, one tomato, and your favorite cheese.
2. Slice the avocado and tomato.
3. Spread butter on both slices of bread.
4. Put the first slice of bread butter side down into a heated pan.
5. Layer as much avocado, tomatoes, and cheese as desired on top of the bread in the pan. Put remaining slice of bread on top, butter side up.
6. Flip after about 3 minutes, or until bottom is browned.
7. Continue cooking until other side is browned and cheese is melted.
