WELCOME!

This website is here to show all the awesome sides of Sarah. Besides, let's face it, those are her only sides.

My name is Sarah Novitt, and I'm a freshman in NC State's college of engineering. I'm looking to double major in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a minor in Japanese. Electrical Engineering was my initial interest simply because it impacts so many aspects of society today. I wanted to focus on a career path that could open multiple doors as opposed to having a narrow path to travel down. I decided to make my degree a double major with Computer Engineering because it only requires an additional three classes when paired with Electrical Engineering. With an opportunity like that, it made sense to expand my qualifications further. I hope to minor in Japanese because my father speaks and teaches Japanese; the culture was a part of my childhood and I want to be able to understand the language more and hopefully travel to the country again.

My favorite hobby is reading. I've adored reading books, particularly fiction and fantasy, since I was a child. As I've gotten older, the books I've read have just become more interesting and draw me in to worlds that I would never have experienced otherwise. Granted, now that I'm in college, I don't have as much time for pleasure reading. However, I've made it a point to keep it as a priority in my life while maintaining grades and a social life.
