My name is Sarah Fickey. I am currently a Freshman at NC State. My major is Biomedical Engineering. I chose that major because I am very interested in improving medical devices to better health care. I am also interested in helping improve the quality of life within the medical field.
My favorite hobby is participating in outdoor activities. I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, including hiking, canoeing, paddleboarding, etc. Over the summer, I participated in all of these activities! My favorite activity of these was hiking because I went hiking with my friends often over the summer and had a lot of fun! I enjoy going hiking whenever I have free time.
