Hello, my name is Spencer Lashbrook, and I am currently a freshman at NC State University. I am a Biomedical Engineering intent, although I am also interested in Chemical engineering. I chose Engineering because I have always had a passion for STEM subjects and see potential for many future opportunities in that field. In particular, I want to focus on Biomedical Engineering because it is my goal to design new and more efficient ways to implement medical technology.
I am currently working on my own doing freelance landscaping work from Spring through Fall. The job started off as a small entrepreneurial venture a few years ago, when I would mow my neighbors' lawns for some extra cash. Since then, I have grown the operation into a legitimate business. I also worked briefly as a front end associate at a Kroger grocery store. My dream job is to manage or own my own engineering firm.
