Hello. My name is Xinyu Li and my English name is Molly. I am a freshman at NC State and I am intending to major in Mechanical Engineering. I chose this major because I love physics and math. I do not like chemistry or biology although I do think they are cool. I used to want to be a Marine Biologist because I love the ocean. I still do but I think I like physics more.

I have never had a real job but I worked as a stage manager for our high school plays at my high school. I did not get paid but it was such a rough job that I think I deserved some salary. In the future, I would love to be a Mechanical engineer who can design tools that people can use in their day-to-day lives. What would be really awesome is if I could incorporate Mechanical Engineering with Marine Biology and work in an aquarium. I have a passion for fishes.
